Donald Trump’s meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa took a bizarre turn when Trump sprayed his counterpart with cologne, then asked how many wives he has.
In a video that is going viral on social media, Trump on Monday proudly displayed a bottle of men’s fragrance, spritzed himself, then al-Sharaa and then other men nearby.
“It’s the best fragrance,” Trump declared.
Handing the bottle to al-Sharaa, he said: “Just take that. And then the other one is for your wife.”
“How many wives?” Trump then asked, laughing. “One? With you guys you never know, right?” he quipped with a slap on al-Sharaa’s shoulder.
