Michael Duarte, a popular food influencer known for his recipe videos BBQ content, died Nov. 8 in Texas.
His death was confirmed via Instagram by Alooma Media Group, his talent agency, in a Nov. 9 post. A GoFundMe page, also shared by Alooma, cites a "horrible accident" as the cause of Duarte's death, revealing he died during travel in Texas.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our valued client and dear friend, Michael Duarte," Alooma wrote in their post, accompanied by a photo of Duarte with his wife Jessica and 6-year-old daughter Oakley.
"Michael was so much more than a client to us at Alooma. He was a true & loyal partner, a trusted collaborator, and above all, a remarkable person," they continued. "His passion, professionalism, and creativity left a lasting mark not only on our team but on everyone who had the privilege of working with him."
"Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was a devoted husband to his wife Jessica, a loving father to his daughter, [a] brother and a loyal friend to so many around the world," Alooma wrote. "His warmth, kindness, and generosity were felt in every interaction, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and inspired."
