Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Gaining an inch of ground was a brutal conquest in a premier NFC matchup, with the Philadelphia Eagles narrowly edging the Green Bay Packers on Monday in Green Bay, Wis.
The Eagles out-gained the Packers 294-261, forced two turnovers and held their foes to one score in the 10-7 triumph at Lambeau Field. They also sacked Packers quarterback Jordan Love three times in the first half.
"We know that's a physical team that we played and we know this is a physical league and division they play in," Eagles coach Nick Sirianni told reporters.
"We knew we had to be physical because we knew they were going to be physical."
