What happened to turn Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from one of Congress’ looniest firebrands into one of the few willing to stand up to her own party?
Nobody knows ― especially not President Donald Trump.
During a Q&A with reporters Monday, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Trump to respond to Greene’s criticism that he should focus more on domestic policy than foreign affairs, noting grocery prices are up and not down, as Trump has claimed.
“Yeah. So. Uhh,” Trump began, taking a long pause. “I don’t know what happened to Marjorie.”
“She’s a nice woman, but I don’t know what happened. She’s lost her way, I think,” he added.
