President Donald Trump said he never tells a lie and that prices are going down in a fib-filled interview with Fox broadcasters during a Washington Commanders football game on Sunday. (Watch the video below.)
Trump visited the booth in the third quarter at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, chatting about his days as a tight end at New York Military Academy.
“How many touchdowns did you have back then?” analyst and former NFL linebacker Jonathan Vilma asked him. “I’m not sure I had any,” the president replied. “It’s a long time ago.”
Trump added, “At least you realize that I never tell a lie, right?”
The president tacked on a few more whoppers when Vilma asked for his thoughts on “where we are as a nation.”
