Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Disco Time suddenly looms as a force in next year's biggest races after a dominating win in Saturday's Dwyer Stakes at Aqueduct in the highlight of weekend horse racing.
Aqueduct, making up for time lost to weather, had a three-day flurry of stakes with implications for the 2026 season, including a few for 2-year-olds. Churchill Downs and Woodbine also got into the act.
On the global scene, Via Sistina showed she stills has what it takes to compete at the highest level, Dark Saffron got the Dubai World Cup Carnival off to a promising start and some candidates for Hong Kong's biggest day next month were on display at Sha Tin.
