President Donald Trump was once again met with both loud boos and some cheers while attending the Washington Commanders football game in Maryland on Sunday night.

Many members of the crowd vocally booed when Trump and the rest of his entourage were projected onto the stadium’s screen in the first half, while others clapped and yelled in apparent support.

During halftime, Trump also participated in an enlistment ceremony for members of the military and inspired a similar response as he was shown conducting it. At times, the sound of the boos appeared to overpower that of Trump’s voice as he gave remarks over the speaker system.

According to a pool report from The New York Post’s Steve Nelson, crowd members could be seen giving a “thumbs down” gesture as Trump presided over the ceremony, while one woman was seen shaking both middle fingers at the president. House Speaker Mike Johnson and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also attended the game with the president.

The Commanders game marks the latest sporting event when Trump has faced backlash from the crowd: He was also booed while attending the U.S. Open in September, as well as when he attended the FIFA Club World Cup in July.
