We now know who’s in the running for the 68th Grammy Awards. The Recording Academy enlisted award alums Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii and more to announce this year’s slate of nominees on Friday morning.Kendrick Lamar secured a leading nine nominations for “GNX,” a kinetic LP that teams the confident charge of his victory lap over Drake with sounds and lyrics ripened by love for the city of Los Angeles.Lady Gaga nailed seven nominations for “Mayhem,” her synth-centric but genre-fluid ode to the shadows of the dance floor. Though this marks her fifth Album of the Year nomination, it could be the first time she finally snags the title. Tapped in six categories, the buzz around Bad Bunny’s vibrant “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” may be bolstered by his upcoming Super Bowl halftime gig. It’s only the second time an all Spanish-language album has been tapped for Album of the Year — the first being his 2022 release “Un Verano Sin Ti.”Sabrina Carpenter charmed six nominations out of “Man’s Best Friend,” proving yet again that silly and sultry are great bedfellows, when in the right hands.Kendrick Lamar, seen here during February's Super Bowl, leads the pack this year with nine Grammy nominations for "GNX."Michael Owens via Getty ImagesLady Gaga, photographed at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, nailed seven nominations for "Mayhem."Kevin Mazur via Getty ImagesThere are two new categories this year, bringing the total number of awards up 95.Designers will compete for the honor of Best Album Cover for the first time.Best Country Album was split into two categories, adding the new Best Traditional Country Album and coincidentally deciding it was time to rename the original to Best Contemporary Country Album just the year after Beyoncé became the first Black artist to win the category.Music had to be released between Aug. 31, 2024, and Aug. 30, 2025, to be eligible for consideration.Members of the Recording Academy will have from Dec. 12, 2025, to Jan. 5, 2026, to mull over their decisions.Once all is accounted for, the ceremony will take place Feb. 1 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The extensive 95-category list of nominations is right here:Bad Bunny, here at the August premiere of "Caught Stealing," is a contender in six categories.John Nacion via Getty ImagesSabrina Carpenter, posing with an armful of MTV Video Music Awards back in September, was tapped with six Grammy nominations.Dia Dipasupil via Getty ImagesRecord of the Year“DtMF” – Bad Bunny“Manchild” – Sabrina Carpenter“Anxiety” – Doechii“Wildflower” – Billie Eilish“Abracadabra” – Lady Gaga“Luther” – Kendrick Lamar With SZA“The Subway” – Chappell Roan“APT.” – Rosé, Bruno MarsAlbum of the YearDebí Tirar Más Fotos – Bad BunnySwag – Justin BieberMan’s Best Friend – Sabrina CarpenterLet God Sort Em Out – Clipse, Pusha T & MaliceMayhem – Lady GagaGNX – Kendrick LamarMutt – Leon ThomasChromakopia – Tyler, the CreatorSong of the Year “Abracadabra” – Lady Gaga, Henry Walter & Andrew Watt, songwriters (Lady Gaga)“Anxiety” – Jaylah Hickmon, songwriter (Doechii)“APT.” – Amy Allen, Christopher Brody Brown, Rogét Chahayed, Omer Fedi, Philip Lawrence, Bruno Mars, Chae Young Park, Theron Thomas & Henry Walter, songwriters (Rosé, Bruno Mars)“DtMF” – Marco Daniel Borrero, Scott Dittrich, Benjamin Falik, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, Hugo René Sención Sanabria, Tyler Thomas Spry & Roberto José Rosado Torres, songwriters (Bad Bunny)“Golden [From “KPop Demon Hunters”]” – EJAE & Mark Sonnenblick, songwriters (HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami)“Luther” – Jack Antonoff, Roshwita Larisha Bacha, Matthew Bernard, Scott Bridgeway, Sam Dew, Ink, Kendrick Lamar, Solána Rowe, Mark Anthony Spears & Kamasi Washington, songwriters (Kendrick Lamar With SZA)“Manchild” – Amy Allen, Jack Antonoff & Sabrina Carpenter, songwriters (Sabrina Carpenter)“Wildflower” – Billie Eilish O’Connell & Finneas O’Connell, songwriters (Billie Eilish)Best New ArtistOlivia DeanKatseyeThe MariasAddison RaeSombrLeon ThomasAlex WarrenLola YoungProducer of the Year, Non-ClassicalDan AuerbachCirkutDijonBlake MillsSounwaveSongwriter of the Year, Non-ClassicalAmy AllenEdgar BarreraJessie Jo DillonTobias Jesso Jr.Laura VeltzBest Pop Solo Performance“Daisies” — Justin Bieber“Manchild” — Sabrina Carpenter“Disease” — Lady Gaga“The Subway” — Chappell Roan“Messy” — Lola YoungBest Pop Duo/Group Performance“Defying Gravity” – Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande“Golden” (From “KPop Demon Hunters”) – HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami“Gabriela” – Katseye“APT.” – Rosé, Bruno Mars“30 for 30” – SZA With Kendrick LamarBest Pop Vocal AlbumSwag – Justin BieberMan’s Best Friend – Sabrina CarpenterSomething Beautiful – Miley CyrusMayhem – Lady GagaI’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2) – Teddy SwimsBest Dance/Electronic Recording“No Cap” — Disclosure & Anderson .Paak“Victory Lap” — Fred Again.., Skepta, & PlaqueBoyMax“Space Invader” — Kaytranada“Voltage” — Skrillex“End of Summer” — Tame ImpalaBest Dance Pop Recording“Bluest Flame” – Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco“Abracadabra” – Lady Gaga“Midnight Sun” – Zara Larsson“Just Keep Watching” (From “F1 The Movie”) – Tate McRae“Illegal” – PinkPantheressBest Dance/Electronic AlbumEusexua — FKA TwigsTen Days — Fred Again..Fancy That — PinkPantheressInhale / Exhale — Rüfüs Du SolF*** U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!!
