The question of how much return on investment AI can bring to companies is a hot topic nowadays, especially as parts of the economy contract and the immediate future remains uncertain. A recent survey from data governance platform Collibra and The Harris Poll found that the vast majority of data decisionmakers—86%—are confident that agentic AI will deliver an expected ROI. More than nine in 10 are working to develop and roll out agentic AI now, with many in the later stage of development.
