RIYADH: Saudi Arabia, represented by the National Center for e-Learning, hosted the 24th meeting of the Committee of e-Learning Officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The meeting on Nov. 6 was attended by the director of education at the GCC, and included deans and e-learning officials from higher education institutions across the GCC countries, as well as a number of experts in digital education and artificial intelligence.
It aimed to strengthen Gulf cooperation to develop e-learning, and encourage the exchange of expertise in digital transformation and educational AI.
This supports the efforts of the GCC countries in developing innovative educational systems that keep pace with future demands.
The meeting addressed key topics, most notably strategic trends in AI, its governance in education and its practical application in developing learning environments.
