Sainsbury’s chief executive has warned that customers are delaying spending ahead of this month’s Budget and is cautioning against further tax hikes that could push food prices even higher.
A letter to Rachel Reeves has been signed by executives including at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Aldi.
