Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Stranger Things will continue in animated form with Netflix teasing a new spinoff that will premiere in 2026, titled Stranger Things: Tales From '85.
The show will take place between Seasons 2 and 3 of the supernatural drama and feature the main cast of characters including Eleven, Mike, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Will and Hopper.
The story takes place in 1985 during a cold winter in Hawkins as Eleven and her friends unravel a paranormal mystery.
Netflix released an announcement trailer for the spinoff featuring short animated sequences and concept art.
Stranger Things: Tales From '85 hails from showrunner Eric Robles and Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
