Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Suits actress-turned-real life duchess Meghan Markle has signed on to star in Close Personal Friends, a new film with Lily Collins and Brie Larson.
Markle's undisclosed role in the Amazon MGM movie will be her first acting gig in eight years.
The cast for the comedy also includes Jack Quaid and Henry Golding.
It is now filming in the Los Angeles area.
"Meghan was on the set today," People quoted an unnamed source as saying. "She seemed very relaxed and happy. She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth."
