The Federal Aviation Administration will soon reduce flights at 40 major airports by 10%, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Wednesday, marking the historic government shutdown’s latest effect on the airline industry as high wait times and staffing troubles hit airports across the country.
Flight capacity will be reduced by 10% at 40 major airports starting Friday, according to Duffy.
