Cher and her music executive boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, share a kind of love that time can’t take away.
The 79-year-old singer and her 39-year-old partner started dating in late 2022 — and despite their 40-year age gap, the “Believe” singer clearly believes that age ain’t nothing but a number.
“Nobody knows what goes on between us, but we just have a blast,” Cher said of her relationship during a “CBS Mornings” interview that aired Tuesday with Gayle King.
King then asked the artist whether the age difference between the two had ever been an issue.
“No. Thank God,” she replied. “He just says, you know, ‘You get older, but,’ he said,‘your spirit is younger.’”
