A "Super Greens" dietary supplement powder under the Member's Mark brand was recalled amid an ongoing salmonella outbreak, the Food and Drug Administration announced.

The FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating reports of salmonella infections in multiple states, including three cases in Virginia. Eleven people have fallen ill in the outbreak, and three have been hospitalized.

The FDA said an investigation showed all illnesses in the outbreak can be traced back to a single lot of organic moringa leaf powder from Vallon Farm Direct PVT LTD of Jodhpur, India. Officials said the batch of moringa powder was supplied to multiple distributors across the United States.

As a result of the investigation, all Member's Mark "Super Greens" dietary supplement powder products were recalled, regardless of lot code or "best by date." The items were sold at Sam's Club stores nationwide.

The agency indicated more products could be recalled as it continues to investigate the point of contamination.
