California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has beefed up his list of grievances with President Donald Trump once again. Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, Newsom discussed his hopes for “a remarkable moment” for the Democratic Party amid the looming Nov. 4 election. He then swiftly turned his sights to take aim at his ongoing political foe, Trump. Telling moderator Kristen Welker that Trump is “a historically unpopular president,” the governor added that the political leader’s “policies are even more unpopular than the president himself.” “In every core category, he’s underwater. And he’s a guy that promised to make us wealthier and healthier,” Newsom continued of Trump’s failed campaign promises. “We’re poorer and sicker, across the board. People are starting to realize that not only is their coffee more expensive, their beef is more expensive, but the cost of an automobile is more expensive, since he became president, the cost of utilities.” From Left: California Gov.
