Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday, Nov. 2 at a home in Ohio rented through Airbnb where multiple individuals were wounded during a party that had been promoted on social media.
Officers responded at around midnight to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 900 block of Top Of The Hill Drive, Bath Township, near Akron, the Bath Township Police Department said in a statement. A large group of people, mainly juveniles, had gathered for a birthday party when one or more suspects fired several shots inside the home before fleeing.
During a press conference Sunday morning, Bath Police Chief Vito Sinopoli confirmed that there were nine individuals — adults and juveniles — who were reported injured at the party. He added that not all were wounded by bullets; one sustained a leg injury after falling.

Sinopoli said he could not confirm the severity of the injuries, the condition of those who were transported, nor how many had been at the party.
