The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite last week ripped higher by 3.7% and 4.9%, respectively, while the Dow advanced 3.2%.

The S&P 500 ended Tuesday's session less than 1% from its all-time high set on Jan. 28.

The S&P 500 and Dow each jumped more than 1% on the day, marking the former’s biggest one-day gain since May 27.

The moves come after the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite hit new all-time and closing highs during Monday's trading session.

Wall Street is coming off a strong week for the major averages after the Federal Reserve cut interest rates.
