President Donald Trump doesn't just do ballrooms. He does bathrooms, too.
Trump, often referred to as a “builder at heart” by his top aides, unveiled a lavish marble-and-gold themed transformation of the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House.
“I did it in black and white Statuary marble,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Oct. 31 as he showed off his handiwork with 25 before-and-after pictures.
One “before” and 24 “after,” to be exact.
The bathroom is for guests and is not Trump's personal lavatory. Statuary marble is a high-end, pure white Italian marble with dramatic grey veins. Traditionally used in sculpting and for statues, such as Michelangelo's David, it is now increasingly used for countertops and flooring.
