Charlamagne Tha God didn’t hold back on shredding multiple Democratic Party leaders on Wednesday’s episode of “The Daily Show.”
After playing a clip of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) referring to Republicans as “the party of lawlessness and disorder,” the radio host asked a brutal question:
“So why is Hakeem Jeffries talking like he’s Chuck E. Cheese Obama? Like, what are we doing? What are we doing? Come on, man. Come on,” he began.
“Clearly, the Democrats don’t have the leaders they need to meet the moment,” Charlamagne continued. “OK, fine. Anyone who was a fan of sports knows, sometimes, you need a rebuilding year. OK, get some draft picks, develop young talent. And at some point, the old guys need to retire.”
He went on to argue that Democrats should be focused on “picking exciting new candidates.”
