Late night host Jimmy Kimmel mocked President Donald Trump for yet another distraction as the administration reopens old cases ― while ignoring the one everyone is talking about.
“The administration is working on some super important stuff,” Kimmel said. “In fact, team Trump just ordered the FBI to look for documents related to the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.”
The Teamsters leader went missing in 1975, reportedly after meeting with mobsters, and has been the subject of public fascination ever since. The FBI said this week it was reopening the case.
Kimmel thinks he knows why.
“The White House wants to find out where Hoffa was buried so they can throw the Epstein files in there with him,” he said, referring to the files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a former Trump friend who was found dead in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of trafficking underage girls and other charges.
