Sydney Sweeney hasn’t completely ruled out getting her 007 on.

Speaking with Variety ahead of the screening for “Christy” at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Oct. 27, the “Euphoria” actor talked shop, responding noncommittally to rumors about being the next “Bond girl” in a future installation of the franchise.

“I can’t. I don’t know,” Sweeney told the outlet. “To be honest, I don’t know all the Bond rumors.”

Based on the adventures of a secret agent in the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), the stories centered on the titular character, James Bond. The franchise, which began with Ian Fleming’s first novel, Casino Royale in 1953, has spawned numerous film adaptations featuring a roster of A-list actors, with Daniel Craig as the last incarnation of Agent 007.

Since Craig’s reign as the iconic British spy ended with “No Time to Die” in 2021, execs, most notably Amazon MGM Studios, have been steadfast in their search for a new Bond, who was in the process of being “reinvented.”
