Oct. 28 (UPI) -- The granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, Kai Trump, will soon play her first LPGA golf event.

It was announced Tuesday that Kai Trump, 18, was picked by the "Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican" to play in its fall series tournament.

The eldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa Trump, both 47, Kai Trump will be set for Nov. 10-16 series at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

"My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour," Kai Trump said in a statement.

A high school senior at the Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Fla., committed to the women's golf team for fall semester at the University of Miami.
