Freddie Freeman hit another historic walk-off home run in the World Series on Monday, leading the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-5 victory in 18 innings (!) over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3.
Last year, Freeman swatted a walk-off grand slam to beat the New York Yankees in Game 1 ― also in Los Angeles before a delirious home crowd.
His latest iconic blast ended a nail-biter after a record-tying amount of innings and an epic performance by teammate Shohei Ohtani.
But for home run World Series drama, it’s Freeman’s world.
Check out reactions to his latest heroics. Some vent sour grapes (yes, L.A.’s payroll is ginormous), some express relief and some want a statue of him carved immediately.
