The last time Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, shared a movie screen, they played an extraordinarily strange couple in "Kinds of Kindness." Now they're locking horns and trading barbs as foils in the sci-fi dark comedy "Bugonia."

“It was so much fun to have that tension," Stone says. "You get into a sort of rhythm together and it's like a dance.”

In director Yorgos Lanthimos' “Bugonia” (in select theaters now, nationwide Oct. 31), high-profile biomedical CEO Michelle (Stone) is forcefully nabbed by two cousins, Teddy (Plemons) and Don (Aidan Delbis), who believe she’s an alien out to destroy Earth.

What unfolds – before things get really weird – is a delicious faceoff where Michelle and Teddy both try to convince the other one they’re right.
