INDIA bloc released it election manifesto in the presence of all the leaders of the alliance. Manifesto was released jointly by INDIA bloc Chief Ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav, Pawan Khera, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Department in the All India Congress Committee (AICC), VIP Chief and Deputy Chief Ministerial face Mukesh Sahani, CPI (ML) (L) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya and other leaders of the alliance. The manifesto contains 25 points, which include IT Park, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), dairy based industries and agro based industries.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘Montha’ over westcentral Bay of Bengal was positioned around 70 km south-southeast of Machilipatnam, 150 km south-southeast of Kakinada, 250 km south-southwest of Visakhapatnam and 480 km south-southwest of Gopalpur of Odisha at 2.30 p.m. The IMD said the storm had moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph between 8.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The storm will continue to move north-northwestwards and cross Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around Kakinada by evening or night as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 90-100kmph gusting to 110 kmph.
