After three years away from the stage lights, Cheryl Burke is expecting "waterworks" when she makes her return to "Dancing with the Stars."
"It’s going to be emotional. It’s going to be pure joy," she said of her upcoming "Halloween Night" guest judging gig in a Deadline interview published Oct. 27.
"It’s going to be all of the feels, so my makeup artist is going to have a hard job trying to glue on my lashes," she continued. "There will be waterworks, for sure."
The 41-year-old dancer and former "Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans" podcast host will join Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough behind the judges' desk on Oct. 28. Nine pairings remain in the competition, which is now in its 34th season.
The episode will be the first time Burke returns to the show since her 2022 exit — she'd joined the competition show in 2006, during Season 2, and won two back-to-back Mirrorball trophies. Despite her time away from the ABC show, Burke confirmed she's still an avid viewer, telling Deadline, "I watch like a crazy person, of course."
