Oct. 27 (UPI) -- A man in Minnesota was arrested after an alleged "murder-for-hire" plot against U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on social media.

Tyler Maxon Avalos of St. Paul, Minn., was apprehended earlier this month and charged for threatening Bondi in a TikTok video in which he appeared to put a $45,000 bounty on America's chief law enforcement officer.

The post, reported Oct. 9 to FBI officials, displayed Bondi's photo with a red sniper-scope dot on her forehead.

"Wanted: Pam Bondi. Reward: 45,000. Dead or Alive (preferably dead)," the post text read.

The FBI traced the account to Avalos, who is either 29 or 30, according to reports.
