The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, fresh off a victory over the Minnesota Vikings, was spotted deflecting a stray basketball that almost hit Madison Beer as the two sat courtside for a Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday, Oct. 24 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The moment took off via social media, where Beer has amassed tens of millions of followers through a music career that has produced pop hits like "Reckless" and "Make You Mine."
The two were also spotted on the jumbotron, and LeBron James dapped up Herbert during the game.
Herbert, who is in his sixth season in the NFL after being drafted by the Chargers in 2020, led his squad to victory on Thursday night as the Chargers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 37-10. The former Oregon Duck was electrifying all night, passing for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
