Oct. 27 (UPI) -- One person was killed and six others were injured in a shooting that erupted during home coming weekend at Pennsylvania's Lincoln University, authorities said.
The deceased victim was identified during a Sunday afternoon press conference as J'wan Jeffers, 25, of Wilmington, Del.
Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe told reporters Jeffers died of a gunshot wound to the head.
The six others injured by gunfire, who ranged in age from 20 to 25, were all expected to live, he added.
