California Gov. Gavin Newsom ripped into President Donald Trump’s administration on Saturday, saying the MAGA agenda is “literally putting America in reverse.”

“I can’t take what’s going on. I mean, no bullshit. I can’t take it. Every single day, every single hour, and it’s not even about Dems versus Republicans, it’s about this country and what we stand for,” Newsom said on Saturday’s “All the Smoke” podcast.

The California governor told the hosts, former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, that America is reverting to a “pre-1960s world,” noting that the conservative-leaning Supreme Court could eviscerate the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which protects minority voters.

“That may likely happen in just a matter of months,” Newsom said.

“I mean, they’re rewriting history, censoring historical facts,” he went on, calling it an “unbelievable” moment.
