On Thursday, October 23, the criminal court in Albi, southern France, publicly released the reasoning behind the verdict delivered on October 17, which found Cédric Jubillar guilty of murdering his wife, Delphine, and sentenced him to 30 years in prison. The court fully endorsed the entire "body of evidence" presented by the prosecution. None of the defense's arguments about weaknesses in the investigation were accepted. Jubillar has already appealed the sentence.
