Methodology

Every year since 2019, we have sought the views of thousands of employees across the continent to create the FT-Statista ranking of companies that may be considered Europe’s Diversity Leaders.

The employee surveys account for 70 per cent of a company’s final score, and the following three objective indicators, added for the first time last year, account for 30 per cent:

the share of women in management positions (eg executive committees, boards of directors, supervisory boards),
