Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Jey Uso has been named a No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship after the title was vacated on WWE Raw.
Raw general manager Adam Pearce kicked off the show on Monday to announce that Seth Rollins was injured and needed surgery, putting him out of action for an extended period of time.
Rollins, who was the current World Heavyweight Champion, was betrayed last week by his partners Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, along with his manager Paul Heyman.
