Oct. 21 (UPI) -- A dog escaped from his crate at Canada's Vancouver International Airport and was on the loose for 9 days before being safely apprehended by rescuers.
Petsearchers Canada said the 8-month-old dog, named Tommy, escaped from his crate after arriving at the airport from South Korea on Oct. 9.
A pair of rescuers from the organization were summoned to assist with the search.
