CZZ During his visit, he obtained detailed information about the State’s Common Entrance Test (CET) and the seat allocation process.
KEA’s Administrative Officer, Islauddin Gadyal, provided a comprehensive presentation on the entire system.
Mr. Gadyal explained in detail how KEA conducts simultaneous seat allotments for as many as 21 different types of courses, including medical, engineering, agricultural sciences, and nursing, among others.
Mr. Biswas and his delegation had visited KEA on June 23 earlier this year to gather initial information.
Currently, in Maharashtra, separate entrance exams and seat allocation processes are conducted for 61 different courses, which often leads to unnecessary delays and confusion. To address this, Mr. Biswas is studying the KEA model as a possible reference for Maharashtra, said a release.
