Thousands of Swifties are collectively listening to Taylor Swift's 12th album on Stationhead, hoping to push the "Showgirl" streams past 8 million.
Stationhead is a fan-powered platform that links directly to Spotify and Apple Music, turning listening parties into measurable impact. Each user connects their account, so when a track plays inside a fan channel, it registers as an official stream. That means if 5,000 fans are tuned in and someone hits play on "Opalite," that's 5,000 streams in real time, multiplied as more listeners join.
Nicki Minaj's fans previously helped generate more than half of the first-week streams for "Pink Friday 2" through Stationhead, according to the app. Swift's fans are leveraging the same power as "Showgirl" continues to dominate playlists and break records.
The singer's official in-house account, Taylor Nation, hosted an Oct. 9 listening party on the platform to play the album.
