The travelling public in Pollachi look for regularisation of the Unreserved MEMU Special Train (No. 06139) from Coimbatore Junction to Dindigul Junction being operated for four days, to cater to the Diwali festival rush.

The Southern Railway had operated the special service from Coimbatore Junction to Dindigul Junction on October 17 and 18, and will again operate the services on October 21 and 22.

The eight-car MEMU train that departs from Coimbatore Junction at 9.35 a.m. halts for two minutes at Podanur Junction (9.48 a.m. to 9.50 a.m.), one-minute at Kinathukkadavu station (10.13 to 10.14 a.m.), three minutes at Pollachi Junction (11.07 a.m. to 1.10 a.m.), one-minute at Udumalpet station (11.33 a.m. to 11.34 a.m.), five-minutes at Palani station (12.05 p.m. to 12.10 p.m.), one-minute at Oddanchathram station (12.35 a.m. to 12.36 a.m.), and reaches Dindigul Junction at 1.10 p.m.

In the return direction, the train (No. 06140) departs at 2 p.m. and stops for one minute at Oddanchathram (2.27 p.m. to 2.28 p.m.), five minutes at Palani station (2.55 p.m. to 3 p.m.), one minute at Udumalpet (3.35 p.m. to 3.36 p.m.), three minutes at Pollachi Junction (4.17 p.m. to 4.20 p.m.), one minute at Kinathukkadavu station (4.43 p.m. to 4.44 p.m.), two minutes at Podanur Junction (5.08 p.m. to 5.10 p.m.), and reaches Coimbatore Junction at 5.50 p.m.
