Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had critics scratching their heads over one particular claim during a press event on Thursday.

As President Donald Trump announced plans to make IVF more affordable, Kennedy made a series of eyebrow-raising declarations about sperm counts of teenage boys, testosterone in older men and early onset of puberty in girls.

But of all the eyebrow-raising lines from the longtime vaccine skeptic, one in particular drew ridicule:

Namely, “Our parents aren’t having children.”

No wonder Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) said earlier in the day that if he were a woman, he “wouldn’t be taking advice” from Kennedy.
