Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Sabrina Carpenter channeled her inner Carrie Bradshaw on Wednesday in a promo for an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.
Carpenter will both host and appear as musical guest on the show's Oct. 18 episode, marking her first time hosting and second time performing.
NBC released a new promo for the episode, invoking the the looks and sounds of the opening to long-running HBO series Sex and the City.
A curly-haired Carpenter narrates the scene as she steps out of an elevator into the SNL studios. Featured player Tommy Brennan greets the pop superstar, asking, "What are you up to?"
"In these heels, probably like 5'4"," she jokes.
