In a first after its September 2023 takeover of the century-old Roshanara Club, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) opened a month-long window to offer lifetime memberships for 750 applications at the club. Beginning Wednesday, the civic body will accept applications till November 14.
According to a DDA release, 400 of the 750 memberships will fall under the non-government category, priced at ₹12.5 lakh per applicant, while the remaining will be offered in the government category at ₹4 lakh.
“This is a rare opportunity to be part of a club that represents Delhi’s cultural and sporting legacy. We’ve restored it not just as a heritage structure, but as a vibrant centre for recreation and excellence,” a DDA spokesperson said.
All applications will be accepted only through the DDA’s official website, and must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of ₹2,500 (inclusive of GST). If the number of applications exceeds the number of available memberships, selection will be made by computerised draw of lots, according to a DDA release.
