Will AI create jobs or destroy them? Ask two tech titans and you'll get radically different answers. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says “many new jobs will be created,” while Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei predicts it will eliminate half of white-collar positions.
Global executives lean closer to Huang, according to the Forbes Research 2025 AI Survey, which polled more than 1,000 C-suite leaders on various aspects of AI adoption, including expectations for AI's impact on their workforce.
Their outlook is broadly positive: 94% predict fewer than 5% of jobs will be eliminated over the next two years, and 59% say AI will ultimately create rather than eliminate job opportunities — a significant increase from 33% who held this view in 2024.
