Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A North Carolina Education Lottery player said she followed a random urge to play the Monopoly online lottery game -- and ended up winning a $1.86 million jackpot.
Cleveland resident Barbara Stewart told North Carolina Education Lottery officials she was in bed when she decided to give the game a try on her phone.
"Something just told me to play Monopoly," she said.
The impulse to make a $1 play led to her winning the $1.86 million top-level "Grand Fortune" jackpot.
"I really didn't know what was going on," she said. "It was unreal. I could not sleep at all after that."
