California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and his team mocked Donald Trump after a video went viral of the president appearing to look decidedly sleepy Wednesday during a White House roundtable on antifa.
Newsom shared the clip on X, formerly Twitter, and quipped: “Honestly thought this was a still image when I first started watching.”
His press office piled on, reposting the footage with the caption: “DOZY DON IS BACK! TOO MUCH ‘TYLENOL??’” It’s the latest instance of Newsom, a potential Democratic 2028 presidential candidate, taunting Trump in a bid to hold up a mirror to the president’s most ridiculous moments.
