A car driver has been arrested for allegedly posting derogatory remarks against the judge who heard the Karur stampede case.Police said A. Antony Sahaya Michael Raj, 38, of Vembar near Vilathikulam in the district allegedly posted derogatory remarks against the judge who heard the case pertaining to the Karur tragedy, in which 41 persons died in a stampede during Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s meeting.On getting information about this post, a Cyber Crime Police team from Chennai came to Thoothukudi and arrested Antony Sahaya Michael Raj, a car driver, on Tuesday.After being taken to Chennai, he was remanded in judicial custody in Puzhal Central Prison.
