Kamala Harris isn’t mincing words about Donald Trump’s White House these days.In fact, the former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate even described the current administration with a four-syllable curse word that rhymes with “other suckers.”Harris, who is promoting her new book about the campaign, “107 Days,” was appearing Monday at A Day of Unreasonable Conversation, a one-day event at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, when she uttered the phrase. The Democrat emphasized to the people in the audience ― many of whom were creators — that “we are living history right now, and you all as storytellers are living this.”She then reminded people who might feel unsure in the current situation that “you’re not passive observers, you know that,” before asking them to “give those emotions, give that experience to those people that you are writing about and writing for.”Harris said she believes it’s important to help people describe what’s going on in the country, “even if it doesn’t change the circumstance.”She then emphasized that “there is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds,” before pointing out that “these mothafuckas” in the Trump administration “are crazy!”“There is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds, when, in fact, these mothafuckas are crazy.” Oh, Kamala Harris, you have charmed me🤭 pic.twitter.com/XKQ8GQOVro— kamala book tour (@madampolitick) October 7, 2025Harris also admitted that speaking out has its challenges, but it’s necessary.“I don’t envy some of the folks who are here, who are in a situation where you are being subtly or maybe not even so subtly being sent signals that now is not the time to speak a certain level of truth with a certain level of candor,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Every person has to make that decision for themselves, right? But there will always be risk associated with speaking truth.”Harris got applause from the crowd for her roasting of Trump and his minions, and one social media user suggested she could have hit on a new Democratic campaign slogan.Close
