A man has been arrested after a mosque with people inside was set on fire in a 'targeted attack'.
Two men were inside the Peace Community Centre and Mosque in Peacehaven, East Sussex, and managed to escape when it was engulfed in flames shortly before 10pm on Saturday.
The building and a car parked outside were badly damaged in the late-night blaze, which police have described as a hate crime.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody.
