Ticket number TH 577825 has won the 2025 Thiruvonam bumper lottery in Kerala which carries a first prize of ₹25 crore. The prize went to the ticket sold by lottery agent P. Thankarajan (agent no. T-2356).

The Thiruvonam Bumper saw record sales this year. The Kerala State Lotteries department had printed 75 lakh tickets, of which all tickets except one, which was defective, were sold, said Lotteries director Mithun Premraj. The ticket was priced ₹500.

The second prize carries ₹1 crore each for 20 winners (₹20 crore in total).

Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal inaugurated the draw held at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday (October 4, 2025). Trial runs were held before the actual draw.

The major chunk of the revenue from Kerala lottery goes into the prizes for the winners and the commission for the agents. More than 2 lakh people are dependent on the Kerala lottery for their livelihood, said Mr. Balagopal.
