The father of the Manchester synagogue attacker praised the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks in a series of disturbing Facebook posts.Faraj Al-Shamie celebrated and praised the murderous invasion of Israel during which almost 1,200 people were killed and around 250 people were taken hostage.On October 7, 2023, the trauma surgeon who came to the UK from Syria, urged the Hamas terrorists to 'take good care of your weapons and aim them accurately for your brothers' hours after the fighters began their bloodthirsty siege of Israel.Writing in Arabic on Facebook, he added that the images of 'fighters storming' Israel with paragliders and motorbikes 'prove beyond a doubt' that Israel would be destroyed.On the day of the October 7 terror attacks, Mr Al-Shami wrote: 'Men like these prove that they are men of God on earth and regardless of who leads them, they are the real compass of men who are confident of their victory.'Oh men of Allah (...) take good care of your weapons and aim them accurately for your brothers (...) may God protect Palestine and its heroic people.'He also expressed support for the Iranian missile attacks on Israel, which killed dozens of innocent civilians, writing: ‘we are waiting for more’.Earlier today Mr Al-Shamie issued a statement expressing his 'profound shock' after his eldest son Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, rammed his car into Jewish congregants at Heaton Park synagogue on Yom Kippur, Judaism's holiest day, before stabbing other worshippers.Two Jewish men - Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, - were murdered in the attack and three others were seriously injured.Meanwhile Jihad Al-Shamie was shot dead by armed police.
